Weddings are truly unique and memorable events and that should be reflected in every detail.
Our process starts with an experience map of the venue, walking through the visitors’ steps. This ensures proper wayfinding, theme continuity and full emersion in all stages of the experience - ceremony, cocktails, reception, dance floor, etc. Apart from these macro stages, IS Design Labs also looks at the micro details which add the needed finesse and personal touch making any event feel special.
This beautiful wedding had a uniquely romantic setting in Dundas, Ontario - the Old Mill. Set on a creek overseeing a waterfall, the venue gives guests the opportunity to stroll through the meticulously landscaped area with stunning chapel and natural rock formations.
With the bridal couple, we agreed on a special mix of rustic style while integrating polished, reflective elements. Burlap, mason jars and wood trunks worked hand-in-hand with a lace pattern and shiny surfaces. The writing and labels added elegant details, while numerous rose petals and candles throughout enhanced the romantic setting.

We worked with the couple to create a brand identity as well as secondary visual elements and color palette. Through discussions and collaborative sessions, we came to a better understanding of ideas and concepts to fit the mood and theme. All of that was used to zoom in on various important areas: invitations, signage, welcome table and guest tables decor, and various other elements the couple wants to incorporate. Other elements which are often focused on are: cake topper, presentation slides, favor packaging, website, etc. Sky is the limit!
