Karate School Brand

A new strategy for the Toronto based karate club Kagami Shin Kai, also known as Mind Over Matter Karate.
This approach promotes a more society-friends-family based feel of a martial art based on traditional values of discipline, hard work, and simple, spiritual way-of-life.

An illustrated logo close to Japanese art and values was created, as requested from the dojo's Sensei. Furthermore the illustration and wordmark translated into the website and posters for the new season. In addition, to differentiate the different programs, sub-brands of the logo were created.
